BAD NEWS FOR EDUCATION IN GUJARAT

AHMEDABAD: Ayurvedic Council of India has cancelled the recognition of Government Ayurvedic College of Bhavnagar on the grounds of lack of staff

strength and infrastructure.

In the wake of this development, 30 seats will be reduced from total number of paramedical seats, the admission of which is scheduled to begin from August 28.

"The government is trying to get the decision of derecognition revoked and restore the number of seats in paramedical courses," said a source from joint admission committee for medical and paramedical courses.
